After another successful NBA season, Corey Brewer is coming back to Portland for his annual basketball camp.
The camp is free and will be held in two sessions on Saturday, July 13. The first session will run from 9 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., while the second sessions will go from 12:30 p.m. to 3 p.m.
Boys and girls ages 8-15 are invited to sign up on CoreyBrewer.com. The camp will be held at Portland High School, where Brewer graduated in 2004 before starring at Florida from 2004-07.
The small forward has since played 12 seasons in the NBA with eight different teams, including the Minnesota Timberwolves, Dallas Mavericks, Denver Nuggets, Houston Rockets, Los Angeles Lakers, Oklahoma City Thunder, Philadelphia 76ers and, most recently, the Sacramento Kings.
Brewer, 33, began the 2018-19 season on a 10-day contract with Philadelphia. After signing multiple 10-day contracts with Sacramento, he stuck with the Kings for the remainder of the season. He appeared in 31 total games and averaged 4.9 points per game.
He will be an unrestricted free agent this offseason, but he told the Road Trippin’ podcast on UNINTERRUPTED that he’d like to remain in Sacramento.
