Georgia Holle Norman died peacefully on December 3, 2020, at the age of 72.

Georgia is survived by her adult children, Holle Fuqua Wiktorek and Edward Benton Fuqua III, her grandchildren, Jayce Fuqua and Hayden Wiktorek, all of Robertson County, and her sisters Charlene Norman Ward of Hendersonville and Debbie Norman of East Nashville.  She is preceded in death by her parents, George Holle and Frances Elizabeth Carroll Norman, and brother, John E. Norman, of East Nashville; and sisters Madilyn Norman Butler and Carroll Norman Greer of Goodlettsville.

Georgia was a 1967 graduate of Litton High School, and she remained an active alumnae member for decades.  Georgia loved her family dearly and was proud to be a Nashville native.  She stayed home to raise her children, lead PTO and VBS, sang in the choir at Cross Plains United Methodist Church, had a great talent for painting ceramics, was an active member of the Rob.Co. Home Demonstration Club, and substitute taught until her oldest child could drive in 1989.  Georgia worked at the TN National Guard Armory for War Records until she retired as the director in 2014.  Georgia was kind, loving, and fun.  She loved unconditionally and accepted and welcomed everyone she met.

Due to current mayor mandates that limit the number in large gatherings, a “Celebration of Life’ of Georgia Holle Norman will be scheduled in Spring 2021 at the Litton High School Alumni Center in East Nashville.
