Barry Clark has given the county 30 years of dedicated service.
Clark began his work career with the Sumner County Highway Department on July 17, 1990 as a welder.
In May of 2002, he added the title of tire man to his job description. As he continued his service with the county, Clark became a patch truck driver in July of 2012, along with Bush Hog operator during the summer mowing season.
He remained in this position until his retirement Sept. 17, 2020.
Clark and his wife, Barbara of 20 years, have five children and 13 grandchildren. He enjoys fishing and hunting.
Retirement will allow him many hours of enjoyment with his fishing pole in the water.
