The Portland Chamber of Commerce is excited to announce our 2017 Christmas Ornament. This year's ornament is Strawberry Manor. Strawberry Manor was originally constructed by Ronnie McDowell's father after his 1977 hit, The King is Gone. The name Strawberry Manor can be accredited to the larger-than-life wall painting done by McDowell and his late brother when the building was constructed. Ornaments are available for purchase at the Chamber office (106 Main Street) for $15.
This is the third year that the Portland Chamber of Commerce has had ornaments available for purchase. The 2015 ornament was The Depot, and the 2016 ornament was The Water Tower.
This month only the Portland Chamber has a Christmas in July special. Purchase the 2015, 2016 and new 2017 ornaments as a set for $40.
