Corey Brewer will host his annual hoops camp at Portland High School on July 22. The camp, which is for kids from 8-15, will include offensive and defensive drills. Before the camp begins, the city will present Portland High School with a new gym floor dedicated to Brewer for his outstanding work in the community and the NBA.

Brewer is a 2004 graduate of Portland and has never been shy about where he comes from. Since being drafted by the Minnesota Timberwolves in 2007, Brewer has played for a collection of teams, but now the 10-year vet looks to make a more permanent home in Los Angeles with the Lakers.

Check-in for session one of the youth camp will be at 8:30 a.m. in the gymnasium with the camp lasting from 9 to 11:30 a.m. Session two will begin with check in at Noon and will run from 12:30 to 3 p.m.

The camp is free and each camper will receive a free t-shirt. Please visit coreybrewer.com/camps/corey-brewers-2017-portland-tn-basketball-camp/ to sign up.
