The Seventh Annual Retro Rider Happy Days Classic Car Show held Sept. 23 attracted over 400 people, who came to Days Gone By Museum to view 85-plus cars, trucks, rat rods, hot rods, and muscle cars.

The event was sponsored by Raise The Praise Productions in cooperation with Days Gone By Museum, O'Reilly Auto Parts of Portland, and Quality Auto Glass of Franklin, Ky.

O'Reilly Auto Parts sponsored the trophies and plaques presented to several drivers from the various divisions. The awards were presented at the close of the show.

According to President of RTP Productions Joyce Stark, there were many food vendors at the event for those who turned out, as well as an auction.

Stark said, "The crowd was dazzled by Country Gospel Artist Darlene Chapman doing her Dolly Parton impression show. She received lots of great applause and compliments and was one of the highlights of the show.

"We are grateful for the support from our sponsors and our community. We are especially grateful for the hard work of RTP's team that works tirelessly raising funds that go back into assisting our local communities and the annual family focused festival."

RTP Productions plans to host the Eighth Annual Retro Rider Happy Days Classic Car Show in September 2018, which is always free to the public.
